The Hook Use this workflow to display specific information in a list view using Advanced Filters, essentially creating a custom report of data relevant to your filter criteria. Try using Advanced Filters to extract the data you need before requesting a paid custom report from our support team.
Before you begin...
- Requires at least Employee User Type access.
- Must have access to the specific tab in Alice where the Advanced Filters will be created (e.g., Tickets List, Guests, Local, Logbooks, or Reports tabs) enabled within your Roles.
- Must have access to View Facilities associated with the filtering criteria in Tickets.
- To share Saved Filters with other users, you must have Hotel Admin User Type access
The Steps:
1. Locate the Advanced Filters on the Tickets tab. Advanced Filters are always found in the header of the screen and may be within or adjacent to the search bar.

2. Use the fields provided to add the desired filter criteria.

3. Click Search to update the list view with the Advanced Filters applied. (Note: The filter criteria will display above the list view

4. List views can be downloaded as a .csv file as needed. Select the download icon to export to .csv

The Result Success: Your filtered list view will populate and successfully download as a CSV file for your reporting needs.
Troubleshooting & Callouts
- Note: Visibility within Alice is strictly controlled by your access to the Facilities listed in the Tickets section of Roles. You will only be shown information associated with the Facilities you have been granted access to.
- Tip: Use Saved Filters to save any Advanced Filter criteria from the Tickets List Tab that you search for often.
