The Hook Alice integrates with your property's PMS to bring in guest reservation information automatically. However, use this workflow if you need to manually add a guest reservation via the Guests tab or directly from a Guest Request.
Before you begin...
- Requires at least Employee User Type access.
- Must have access to Add, View, and Edit under Guest Information enabled within your Roles.
- To add from the Guests tab, you must have access to the Guests tab.
- To add from a Guest Request, you must have access to the Tickets tab.
- Alice’s PMS integration is a one-way sync. Any guest reservation information added or changed manually in Alice will not push back to the PMS.
The Steps: Adding from the Guests Tab
Navigate to the Guests tab.
- Click +Add Reservation.
- Add the reservation details. (Note: Last Name is the only required field).
- Click Save.
The Steps: Adding from a Guest Request
From the Tickets tab:
- Select +Guest Request.
- Select Add Guest.
- Indicate if it is an In-House or a Pre-Arrival reservation, then add any additional reservation information. If a reservation number is available for pre-arrivals, ensure it matches the PMS confirmation number to avoid creating duplicate reservations.
- Continue adding ticket details, then select Save. The guest reservation will be saved and can be referenced in the Guests tab. The reservation information and reservation details will not push back into the PMS.
The Result Success: The manual guest reservation will be saved and can be referenced or updated at any time within the Guests tab.
Troubleshooting
- Note: Guest reservation information will automatically populate into the Guest field within tickets when the reservation is within 14 days of today’s date.
