The Context The Guests tab houses reservation information in Alice and consolidates guest-related activity into one central space. While information can be added manually, this tab is most effective when integrated directly with your property's PMS system.
The Data: Features & Workflows
- Guest Details: View key information including the guest's name, reservation duration, associated tickets, and saved guest itineraries.
- Creating Tickets: If multiple guest requests need to be added for one guest, initiate these tickets directly from the Guests tab to automatically pre-populate the guest's information on the ticket.
- Broadcast Messages: Initiate targeted broadcast messages to groups of guests directly from this tab.
- Customizable List View: The list view is configurable per user. Click the gear icon to enable or disable the specific columns you want to see when logged in.
- Advanced Search & Filters: Narrow the list view to quickly find information about guest reservations using specific criteria. Searchable fields include: Name, VIP, Room, Confirmation #, PMS Status, PMS ID, Phone, Email, Group, Days, Arrival Date, Departure Date, Status Filters, Language, and Late Check-Out.
Limits & System Logic
- Search Limitations: Advanced Search fields require exact values to search and cannot perform partial searches.
- Custom Terminology: The Guests tab name is customizable based on property needs (e.g., residential properties may see the term "Residents" in lieu of "Guests").
