Confirmation letters provide official documentation for services like dining reservations or transportation. Unlike itineraries, these are not saved in Alice but are generated on-demand for emailing or printing.
Before you begin...
• Requires Employee User Type access.
• Must have Access to Ticket List and View Tickets permissions.
• Templates must be configured in Alice Admin as either Web or Word formats.
Creating Confirmation Letters
1. Navigate to the Tickets tab and open the desired ticket.
2. Select Letter.
3. Choose a Template from the dropdown menu.
4. For Web Templates: Edit the text directly in the preview window on the left.
5. For Word Templates: You will be prompted to download the document to edit locally.
6. Select an action:
◦ Send as Email: Sends a PDF attachment to the guest.
◦ Save as PDF: Downloads the file to your device.
◦ Print: Sends the document to your local printer. The confirmation letter is generated and delivered to the guest.
Troubleshooting
• Customizing the layout or branding of confirmation letters requires a Custom Work request to Alice Support.
• If using a Word template, edits made in the downloaded file are not saved back to Alice.
