Alice uses tokenized encryption to securely store guest credit card numbers. Use this workflow to add, view, or delete payment methods while maintaining PCI compliance.
Before you begin...
• Requires Employee User Type access.
• Must have Manage Credit Cards permission in Roles.
• Feature must be enabled by Alice Support.
• Security Note: Never enter credit card numbers in the "Internal Notes" field.
Adding a Card
1. From Guest Tab: Open the reservation, click Edit, and select Add Card.
2. From Ticket: Create a +Guest Request, select a Service configured with the Credit Card data type, and select Add Card.
3. Enter the details in the secure Tokenex window.
4. Click Save.
Viewing or Editing a Card
1. Open the guest reservation details and click Edit.
2. Scroll to the credit card section and click Edit/View.
3. Enter your Alice password to authenticate.
4. Click the eye icon to reveal hidden information.
5. Update the Expiration Date if necessary.
6. Click Update.
Deleting a Card
1. Open the guest reservation details and click Edit.
2. Locate the credit card and select the Trash Can icon.
3. Click Delete on the confirmation pop-up. The card is securely stored as a token.
Troubleshooting
• CVV codes are automatically deleted after 14 days and cannot be viewed or edited after saving.
• Full PAN numbers cannot be edited. To change a card number, you must delete the card and add a new one.
• Credit card data is automatically deleted if not accessed for 120 days.
