Now that we have reviewed the ALICE Getting Started Course, as a front line employee, managing a positive guest experience from pre-arrival to departure is crucial. You will use ALICE to perform the following key tasks:
- Field guest feedback and requests
- Assist in planning and booking activities
- Vendor relationship management
- Communication via ALICE Guest Messaging

Guest Information: As guests book rooms at your property, your hotel's PMS will automatically transfer data into ALICE. From the Guests Tab, you can view guest information such as contact details, reservation durations, and tickets associated with guests. Chat with your Guests: Depending on your hotel's configurations, you may have access to the SMS/Chat tab. From here, you can view, create, and send guest messages. Local Vendor Hub: As a front-line employee at your property, guests may ask you for recommendations on places to eat, sites to visit, or activities to do. The Local Tab is where your property creates and stores information for local vendors. From nearby restaurants to limousine services, you can visit the Local Tab to quickly provide your guests with information for your favorite vendors.

Record Keeping with Logbooks: The Logbooks tab is customizable. Depending on your property's setup, you may have access to multiple Logbooks. In ALICE, Logbooks serve to record important information for tracking purposes. Popular Logbooks include Lost and Found, Packages, and Guest Recovery.
