The Hook
Use this workflow to create and manage shortcuts to frequently used websites or files directly from the Tickets tab.
Before you begin...
• Requires Hotel Admin User Type access.
• Quick Links are configured in Alice Admin
Add Quick Link
The Steps
Adding a Quick Link
1. Select Quick Links from the Alice Admin menu.
2. Click Create Quick Link.
3. Enter the Link Text (the name displayed on the Ticket tab) and Hover Text (an optional description visible when hovering over the link).
4. 4. In the Website Files section, select Website or File from the Type dropdown.
5. Enter the URL or click Choose File to browse your computer. (Note: Add a description if multiple items are associated with the link to differentiate them on the link menu).
6. Drag and drop the items into the desired order using the Sort area.
7. Select the appropriate visibility settings under Visible in Alice mode (Property, Property Group, or Property Group And Properties).
8. Limit visibility to specific Facilities in the Show to users in the following facilities field, or leave blank to show to all users.
9. Click Save to publish the Quick Link.
Editing a Quick Link
1. Select a Quick Link to highlight it.
2. Click Edit Quick Link.
3. Update the Quick Link details as needed.
4. Click Update to save changes
Deleting a Quick Link
1. Select the Quick Link that is no longer needed.
2. Click Delete Quick Link.
The Result Success: The Quick Link will appear on the left side of the Ticket tab under Saved Filters. If associated with only one URL, it will open directly; if multiple URLs are attached, you will be taken to a link menu.
Troubleshooting
• Note: Most file types are accepted for upload (e.g., .doc, .pdf, .mp4). If you experience difficulty uploading a file, contact Alice Support.
• Note: Deleting a Quick Link is a permanent action in Alice and cannot be recovered. You must recreate it if it was removed in error.
