The Rooms tab is where you manage one of the most important functions of the Housekeeping department—to ensure that your guest rooms are cleaned and ready for stayover or new occupancy. It’s a simple two-step process to create housekeeping boards for the day.
The Steps Creating Room Boards
- Click Manage Staff and select the room attendants available to clean rooms today. 3. Click Save to confirm your selections.
- Select Assign Rooms to distribute workload automatically based on preset rules. Save your auto assign rules.
Board Views
After you have assigned rooms, our system will generate the boards for selected room attendants. There are two views at your disposal in the Rooms tab:
- Card view (default)
- List view
Card View
The default card view shows room assignments by person. You can search by room number or staff name in the card view.
Right click each room number card to view details of the room assignment, such as task type, room status, guest name etc.
List View
The list view displays more information in the grid format and provides flexibility in sorting, filtering, and searching view options, such as
- Sort by room number
- Reorder rooms by assignment priority
- Advanced filter
- Filter by staff
- Filter by reservation specials
- Search by room number
- Search by guest or group code
- Filter by room type, task type, room status, or reservation status
You can select multiple rooms in the list view and edit them in bulk, e.g., assign, unassign, change task type or room status.
You can view up to 75 assignment records at a time in the list view.
Click on any cell in the list grid to open the assignment modal.
