The Hook Use this workflow to add preferred sections for Room Attendants. Setting up these preferences is an important prerequisite to quickly building boards via Auto Assign.
Before you begin...
- Requires Hotel Admin User Type access.
- For a user to be available in the list of names, the user must first be assigned a Role in which Role Assignment is enabled. The user also needs Rooms and My Board access within the Room Assignment Mobile Tabs.
- Housekeeping Sections must be created as Location Groups before they can be added to Room Attendants within Section Assignment.
The Steps
- Select Room Attendant from the Alice Admin menu.
- Select Section Assignment to view a table with a list of Room Attendant names and Preferred Housekeeping Section.
- Select Edit.
- Enter Location Groups that correspond to the Preferred Housekeeping Section per Room Attendant. Click into the field to reveal a dropdown or start typing in the field to search existing Location Groups.
- Select Save.
The Result Success: The preferred sections are saved to the Room Attendants. You can now create boards in a single click using the Auto Assign feature.
Troubleshooting
- Note: It is possible to assign multiple sections to one Room Attendant.
