Room boards organize the daily cleaning schedule. Use this workflow to assign rooms to attendants either manually or by using "Auto-Assign" to distribute the workload based on credit limits and sections.
Before you begin...
• Requires Employee User Type access.
• Must have Access to Rooms tab enabled.
• Must have Access to Edit Assignments and Priorities enabled in Roles.
• Room Attendants must be selected in the "Manage Staff" list to appear on the board.
Housekeeping Operations
1. Navigate to the Rooms tab.
2. Select Manage Staff in the upper left or center of the screen.
3. Select the Room Attendants working the current shift.
4. Click Save to generate empty boards for the selected staff.
Building Boards Manually
1. Use the Unassigned Rooms filters (e.g., Room Status, Floor) to locate specific rooms.
2. Click and hold to drag a room (or multiple rooms) from the unassigned list to a Room Attendant’s board.
3. Repeat until all necessary rooms are assigned.
Building Boards with Auto-Assign
1. Ensure staff boards are created (see Setting Staff above).
2. Select Assign Rooms in the upper right corner.
3. Input the Credit Limit (defaults to the maximum set in Admin).
4. Click Assign. The system automatically distributes rooms based on the attendant's assigned section and credit maximums.
Note: The rooms appear listed under the specific Room Attendant's name, and the credit count updates dynamically.
Troubleshooting
• If rooms are double-assigned, an error message will appear.
• To select multiple non-consecutive rooms manually, hold Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) while clicking.
