The Steps
Follow these instructions to use Advanced Auto-Assign:
- From the Rooms tab, select Manage Staff and select the Room Attendants that will be working this shift. Select Save to create the Rooms Board.
- Select Assign Rooms in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- The Auto-Assign window will appear. From here, you will choose the rules to apply to your Rooms Board creation.
For example, you can choose to only assign “Dirty” rooms, or rooms that need a “Deep Clean.” You can also assign by section
- Select Assign to create the boards. ALICE will take it from here.
The Result Success: ALICE will automatically distribute the rooms to the selected staff based on your rules. Room attendants can instantly view their assignments from the ALICE Mobile App.
Troubleshooting
Note: You can still view and edit the room boards after auto-assigning. Simply click and drag-and-drop rooms from one attendant to another as necessary.
Note: ALICE uses credits to define each clean type and balance the workload. For example, a room requiring a "check-out" clean may use 3 credits, whereas a "sheets change" may use only 2 credits.
