In this article we cover how to add an SMS template for your property. SMS Templates can be created within ALICE and provided to guests in a SMS conversation. Creating a template for these types of communication can save you time.
User Type & Roles:
To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Hotel User Admin or Admin User Type access.
The user must have Can Manage Chat Message Templates enabled within their user profile.
Steps:
- Navigate to Admin > Messaging > Message Templates
- Click on Add Message Template
- Fill in Message Template Name.
- For Message Templates Scope, select Hotel.
- For Message Templates Type, select GuestMessage
- Enter the message content in the “Message Template” field.
- Click ‘save’.
Note: Each SMS Template has a 320 character count to keep communication with guests concise and efficient.
Edit Message Template
Steps
- Select Message Templates from the ALICE Admin menu.
- Select a Message Template to highlight.
- Select “Edit Message Template”.
- Update the Message Template details as needed.
- Select “Save” to update the template.
