Staff use these workflows to update the cleaning status of a room (e.g., Dirty to Clean) and perform digital inspections to ensure quality standards.
Before you begin...
• Requires Access to Rooms tab on the mobile app.
• To perform inspections, users need permission to access Unlimited (up to Inspected) in Roles.
• Inspection Checklists must be configured in Alice Admin before use.
Updating Room Status (Room Attendant)
1. Select a room from the list on the mobile app.
2. Tap the Status Icon (e.g., Dirty).
3. Select the new status (e.g., Start or Clean) as work progresses.
Performing an Inspection (Supervisor)
1. Select a room with Clean status from the list.
2. Select Add Inspection.
3. Update the workflow status to Inspection In Progress.
4. Tap the checklist items to score them:
◦ Tap Once: Pass (Green Check)
◦ Tap Twice: Fail (Red X)
◦ Tap Three Times: N/A (Blank)
5. Tap Save to calculate the inspection score.
6. Change the room workflow status to Inspected.
The room status updates immediately in Alice and the PMS (if 2-way integration is active).
