Configuration Instructions
To enable Push Notifications for Edited Tickets, follow these steps:
Hotel Admin setup:
- Select the user profile icon, and then select Admin.
- Select Update Hotel Info
- Locate and enable the checkbox titled, Enable ability for mobile users to manage push notification settings for edits on their assigned tickets.
Mobile User Setup:
- Once the Admin settings are enabled for your hotel, Mobile Users can enable this setting on their device. Log into the ALICE app on your mobile device.
- Select the settings menu icon.
- Select Notifications.
- Under the Edits on Tickets Assigned to Me section, select the Enabled checkbox.
- Select Save settings to apply changes.
Usability
Once the Admin setup and Mobile device setup is complete, Mobile Users can expect to receive push notifications for assigned tickets as they are updated or modified.
An update is defined as any change to the ticket, including the following fields:
- Due Date / Time
- All Service Options
- Special Instructions
- Status
- Location
The Push Notifications will appear on Mobile Devices as illustrated in the image below:
