The Hook
Use this workflow to add additional individuals to the email distribution list so they receive notifications when the Data Retention Policy Anonymization job runs.
Prerequisites
• Requires Hotel User Admin User Type access.
The Steps
1. Navigate to Alice Admin and select Security & Data Privacy from the menu.
2. Select Data Retention Policy.
3. Select the Email Recipients for Data Retention Policy confirmation field.
4. Enter the email addresses, listing one email per line.
5. Click Save.
The Result Success: The specified email addresses will now automatically receive a confirmation email when the Data Retention Policy Anonymization job runs.
Troubleshooting
• Note: The anonymization job runs daily at 12 AM in the hotel’s local time zone, and admins should expect to receive the email up to 10 minutes after the hour.
• Note: The email only confirms that the job was executed successfully and will not include specifics about what data was anonymized.
