The Hook Use this workflow to view and complete digital checklists on Alice Desktop (web) or the Alice Staff app (mobile) to safely store your data and track task completion.
Before you begin...
• Requires at least Employee User Type access.
• Requires the following Role settings enabled: Access to the Tickets List tab, Access to View Tickets (to mark checklists), Access to Edit Tickets (to edit ticket details or update workflow statuses), and Access to Close Tickets (to close tickets with checklists).
• Checklists must be configured as Service Options by a Hotel Admin.
• Recommendation: Update the workflow status on the ticket to indicate that it is in progress prior to completing the checklist.
The Steps
Completing a checklist on Web
1. Select a ticket from the ticket list and expand the Checklist section (if the ticket has a checklist associated).
2. Click the checkboxes to complete the checklist: click once to mark the item as conforming (green checkmark), twice for deficient (red x), or three times for N/A (blank checkbox).
3. Click the + icon to add comments to the checklist item to provide more context.
4. Click the checkbox to save the comment or the x to cancel.
5. Update the workflow status to a closed status once the checklist is completed (if no other action is necessary).
Completing a checklist on Mobile
1. Select a ticket from the ticket list and expand the Checklist section.
2. Tap the checkboxes to complete the checklist: tap once to mark the item as conforming (green checkmark), twice for deficient (red x), or three times for N/A (blank checkbox).
3. Tap the + icon to add comments to the checklist item.
4. Select Save or Cancel on the comment before saving the checklist changes.
5. Tap Save to save the checklist and return to the ticket details.
6. Update the workflow status to a closed status once the checklist is completed (if no other action is necessary).
The Result Success: The checklist information is saved. On the web, a summary of the checklist details will update within the checklist header. On mobile, a preview of the checklist details will appear within the checklist section on the ticket details screen.
Troubleshooting
• Note: Users with View access will also receive notifications for unassigned tickets.
