Create new tickets or view an existing related ticket from the room details on mobile for greater transparency and communication between Housekeeping and other departments.
User Type & Roles:
To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Employee User Type access.
The user must also have the following settings within Roles enabled.
- Access to Ticket List and Rooms tabs.
- Access to Add Tickets. Only grant Add access to Facilities that a Room Attendant would create tickets for. Often this will be Housekeeping and Maintenance only.
Users with View access will also receive notifications for unassigned tickets.
Things to Consider:
- A paper icon will note when there are Related Tickets with an open status associated with a room.
Steps:
- Tap any room to see the room details.
- Under Related Tickets, tap Add Ticket to add new Related Ticket.
- Select the ticket Service.
- Select the ticket type as Internal or Guest.
Guest details will auto-populate when Guest is selected.
The room number will auto-populate under Location when Internal is selected. - Select Save to be redirected to the room details, where existing Related Tickets can be viewed.
- Tap the Related Ticket to view ticket details.
