AL: Housekeeping Inspection Checklist - Mobile

Once a Housekeeping Inspection Checklist has been configured, housekeeping users can add inspections to housekeeping tasks on the ALICE Staff app (mobile) by selecting Add Inspection. This creates an Associated Ticket with the inspection items added as a checklist/series of checklists.  
 

User Type & Roles:

To perform this action in ALICE, the user must have at least Employee User Type access.

The user must also have the following settings within Roles enabled.

• Access to Rooms tab.
• Access to Rooms, All Rooms, and Staff under Room Assignment Mobile Tabs.
• Access to Unlimited (up to Inspected) in Rooms (Room Assignment).

• Access to Add, View, Edit, Close, and Assign in Room Assignment Facility - Tickets. 
  

Things to Consider:

• A Housekeeping Inspection Checklist must be added by a Hotel Admin.

Steps:

1. Select a Clean Room from the Room list.
2. Select Add Inspection.
3. A new, Associated Ticket will populate with the Room and Room Attendant information in the Location and Assign To fields.                                                                              
4. To perform the inspection, first, update the workflow status to indicate that the Inspection is in progress.
5. Select the first checklist. It should be named according to the area that needs to be inspected in the room. In some cases, there may be only one checklist for the inspection.                               
6. Tap the checkbox one time to mark the inspection item pass.
   Tap the checkbox two times to mark the inspection item fail.
   Tap the checkbox three times to mark the inspection item skip.
7. Once the checklist is complete, tap Save.
8. If there are additional checklists to complete for the inspection, move on to the next checklist and repeat steps 6-7.
9. After the changes have been saved, the Housekeeping Inspection Checklist Score will display.
10. Once all of the checklists have been reviewed and completed, update the workflow status on the ticket to indicate that the Inspection is complete.                                                                    
11. Return to the Room details on the room list. The Associated Room Inspection Ticket should display as completed. Mark the room as Inspected by changing the workflow status to Inspected.
