Set tickets to repeat based on a variety of schedule criteria, similar to a recurring calendar event. This ensures regular tasks are automatically generated and not forgotten.
Before you begin...
• Requires Employee User Type access or higher.
• Must have the ability to Add Tickets enabled in Roles.
Scheduling a Repeating Ticket
1. Create a new ticket and fill in all necessary details.
2. Select the Repeat checkbox next to the Due Date field.
3. Select the frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly) and the specific days or dates for the repetition.
4. Set the Starts On date and Ends criteria (Never, After x occurrences, or specific date).
5. Click Save to start generating the ticket series.
Editing or Canceling a Repeating Ticket
1. Click Repeating Ticket in the upper-left corner of the ticket screen.
2. A new window opens. From here, click Edit List. Edit any items listed and then select Update to apply changes.
3. To end a recurring schedule or stop future occurrences, select Cancel Repetition within the Edit Template window.
4. Select Delete Tickets to remove all open future occurrence, or choose Keep Tickets to stop future generation while preserving existing entries.
Note: The ticket will automatically regenerate on the ticket list according to the defined schedule.
