Custom itineraries, confirmation letters, and reports can be built upon request to meet your property's specific operational and branding needs.
The Context
- Location: Custom documents are generated and accessed within ALICE (via the Ticket tab, Guest tab, or Reports tab depending on the request type).
The Data
Custom Work Type | Definition | Lead Time |
|---|---|---|
Confirmation Letter | Document provided to guests via email, printed, or saved locally. It can be customized to match property brand standards. | 2-3 weeks |
Itinerary | Document compiling a list of tickets associated with a guest reservation. Format of the body cannot be changed, but the Intro, Closing, and font can be customized. | 2 weeks |
Ticket Print Out | A document version of a ticket. Best used when working with an external vendor who does not have access to your ALICE account. | 2 weeks |
Custom Report | Tailored data reporting when additional needs are not being met by the default reports available in the Reports Tab. | 4 weeks |
Limits & Considerations
- Confirmation Letter Updates: Customization is manually coded. If configuration changes occur to Services or Service Options after the letter is customized, those changes are not automatically included. You must open a new custom work request to include them.
- Confirmation Letter Formats: Can be created in a Web format (allows native editing within ALICE) or a Microsoft Word format (requires users to download the document to edit).
- Itinerary Templates: Each property is limited to exactly one itinerary template.
- Logos: The logo on all custom documents is strictly tied to the logo associated with the hotel in ALICE Admin.
- Ticket Print Outs: It is not recommended to use printouts for regular staff. The best practice is to provide ALICE access to all staff interacting with tickets.
